R12-08 is 1/2 inch SAE 100R12 four wire spiral hydraulic hose sold by the foot for very high pressure and high impulse service.
- Recommended service: Very high pressure hydraulic applications using petroleum and water based fluids
- Compatible hydraulic fluids: Mineral and synthetic oil fluids including HL, HLP, HLPD, and HVLP; oil water emulsions including HFAE, HFAS, and HFB; and water glycol liquids including HFC
- Additional media: Vegetable and mineral oil based lubricants, cooling water, and compressed air
- Biodegradable fluids: Generally suitable for HETG, HEPG, and HEES fluids, subject to fluid additive compatibility
- Not suitable for: Phosphate ester based HFD hydraulic fluids
- Compatible fittings: W Series bite to the wire hose fittings in all available sizes
- Hose preparation: No skiving required with W Series fittings
